super, seedy, sugar-free granola bars

These are totally delicious and easy to make, no baking necessary.  Made with protein-rich seeds and super-dooper foods like hemp seeds, goji berries and cacao nibs – see my previous post about why they are so super – and held together with tahini and coconut oil.  Just freeze for half an hour and they are ready to go.

Full of essential fatty acids, protein, zinc and calcium, they are healthy and tasty too.  Great for a post-workout snack or just with a nice cuppa!


1 cup pumpkin seeds
1 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup raw honey or maple syrup
1/3 cup tahini
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup goji berries
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup cacao nibs
1/4 cup hemp seeds
1/2 tsp cinammon
pinch of salt
